Just so you know, Facebook ...

Being in the ad industry, I get how ad targeting works. But what I’m completely baffled by is what triggered Facebook to recommend these pages to me.

Remember, up until about two months ago I thought trap shooting was an illegal act involving caged animals being hunted.

That assumption was wrong.

As is Facebook’s.

Just so you'll know what Facebook is up to.

Chi-Ching!

That surely wasn’t the sound of a cash register opening from a million dollar shoping spree. Instead it was the sound of the last click from the silver bracelets of Floyd Mayweather’s fashion statement. Mayweather also known as, ”Money,” surrendered in a courtroom to face a three-month jail sentence for attacking his ex-girlfriend and mother to  three of his children.

In December, he pleaded quilty to misdemeanor domestic battery to avoid trial on felony charges that could have gotten him up to 34 years in prison if he was convicted.

After arriving to court in support of Mayweather, best friend rapper 50 Cent had this to say to reporters outside the courthouse in downtown Las Vegas,

”He’ll be all right, it’s an uncomfortable situation for everyone”

It appears that the closet thing that Mayweather will have to boxing will be shadow boxing as he exchanges his spacious mansion for a cell that is about one-third the size of a small boxing ring.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has officially begun his 90-day jail sentence for domestic violence.

Floyd turned himself in to a Vegas jail moments ago. 50 Cent was present in court for support.

Floyd was supposed to surrender back in January, but the judge postponed his jail date so he could fight Miguel Cotto on May 5th. It was worth it ...

James Cameron: 3D is about to explode - IBNlive

Reblogged from 423 Digital, Inc.:

Home viewing of movies in three dimensions will be slow to catch on until technology improvements deliver high-quality viewing without special 3D glasses, according to James Cameron, director of films including 'The Terminator', 'Titanic' and 'Avatar'.

Cameron, a fervent believer in 3D, said a lack of high-quality content was also a barrier to wider adoption, but a poor technology to accommodate groups of people watching from different angles without glasses was the main obstacle.

I have seen much criticism of this episode online, and I tend to agree with it. We in the medical community continually push people to consent for organ donation. It gives someone the chance to live life out of a hospital or a dialysis machine.

However, if this episode was my only reference, I would never consider organ donation even if you sent a slightly drunk and scantily clad…

If some people bought, flirted, cheated their way to fame, you can click, pay and twit your way to celebrityhood, too. You don't have to be so talented, smart, reputable, and creative to be famous. You simply have to be bold and mean and-- most importantly-- shameless.

You know Internet makes everything almost possible nowadays. When it comes to earning more popularity points, Facebook is no longer appealing, as piling on the friends now becomes sort of "gauche", at least according to some geeks at…

We open in a prison, with Pitbull (Agent A) in one of the vault-like cells. We don’t know how long he’s been there, but the fact that he’s rapping to himself for entertainment leads us to believe that it’s been somewhere between four seconds and thirty years. Then, he is rescued by an unnamed Lady Agent who leads Agent A, now sans sunglasses, out of the vault and to a Ford with the camera direction letting us know that it’s obviously a Ford.
