I love pastels and adore wearing light and fun colors all Spring and Summer long.  This past Spring/Summer was no different I wore pastels like crazy but I wore the hell out of MINT!!!!!!! I LOVE ALL THINGS MINT!  I really had a love affair with the robin's egg hue!  Now that Summer is coming to an end.....I am sad to say goodbye to my beloved mint pieces as I move on and embrace my "darker" side for Fall/Winter.

D.C. Court Rejects Texas’ Voter ID Law

Texas’ controversial voter ID bill was struck down again, this time by a three-judge panel in Washington D.C. that determined the bill would disenfranchise certain segments of the voting-age population.

The bill, SB 14 sponsored by state Sen. Troy Fraser, R-Horseshoe Bay, requires that citizens furnish a photo ID before casting a ballot, and has been championed by supporters as a necessary tool to stamp out voter fraud in Texas.
