Trucker Who Made Wrong Turn Freed From Mexican Prison

A Dallas truck driver is enjoying his first weekend of freedom in seven months after what his employer said was an “honest mistake” landed him in a Mexican prison.

Jabin Bogan was transporting a load of ammunition to a Phoenix gun shop in April when he said he made a wrong turn, causing him to cross the border into Mexico, where strict firearms laws are enforced.

On Saturday, President Obama took his daughters, Malia and Sasha, Chout for some early Christmas shopping at One More Books in Arlington, Virginia.

The other reason was to help promote an effort called “small business Saturday” which encourages shoppers to patronize mom-and-pop businesses after Thanksgiving instead of the large chains and box stores.

At the store, Obama held up his BlackBerry, apparently looking up a book title as he spoke with shop owner Eileen McGervey.

Conservatives mocked Vogue’s Ann Wintour and the campaign of President Barack Obama for a “ritzy” fashion initiative called ‘Runway To Win,” conceived by Wintour to raise money for the president’s re-election efforts.

Well, it appears as if the joke is on them.

According to campaign manager Jim Messina, the eclectic fashion palette raked in over $40 million dollars, reports…

LOCAL: "Cleaning Fairy" Gets No Prison Time in Sentence

WESTLAKE, OH (WOIO) -

A local maid will be doing more cleaning up, for free, but this time it's part of her sentence.

Susan Warren was sentenced to one year, 20 hours of community work service, and slapped with $150 fine.

Warren, also known as "The Cleaning Fairy", plead guilty earlier this month to one count of attempted burglary.

Police say back in the summer, the 53-year old Elyria woman, broke into Westlake home and started cleaning it.
