At only 17 years old, Chicago upstart rapper Chief Keef is no stranger to controversy. From being on house arrest for allegedly pointing a gun at a police officer to recently dissing Lil Wayne, Chief Keef has made quite a first impression on the rap world.
He stepped into trouble again recently when he mocked the murder of Chicago rap rival Lil JoJo on his Twitter page. JoJo, 18, (real name Joseph Coleman) had reportedly been beefing with rival rappers Chief Keef and Keef’s associates Lil Reese and Lil Durk as well as with the Black Disciple street gang for months before he was fatally shot last week in the same Chicago neighborhood where Jennifer Hudson’s family was slain.
Hours after JoJo’s murder, a message was posted on Keef’s Twitter account saying, “Its Sad Cuz Dat N—- Jojo Wanted To Be Jus Like Us #LMAO.”
