One of my greatest sources of joy is being able to get into the classroom and interact with groups of smart, ambitious, idealistic people. I love the energy, the passion and creativity that awesome academic institutions like Georgetown foster among their students.
I was invited by my good friend, Professor Jeff Reid, head of Georgetown University’s Entrepreneurship Initiative at the McDonough School of Business to speak to his MBA class today about the “Power of Entrepreneurship.” Jeff is a national leader and pioneer in Entrepreneurship education, having built one of the world’s top entrepreneurship centers at UNC; and now he’s building an amazing entrepreneurship program at Georgetown.

Great news for Scandal fans….Kerry Washington and cast have been given the green light for season two. I’m so relieved!
ABC has been cautious with the Shonda Rhimes political soap. But in the wake of its reasonably steady performance on Thursdays this fall, Scandal is now getting an extra nine episodes and its first full season. (Scandal is averaging 8.1 million viewers and a 2.5 in adults 18-49, plus a hearty 45 percent DVR boost).

Former member of the group Blaque, Natina Reed was killed Saturday morning after being hit by a car on a busy Atlanta highway. Understandably her friends, family and former group members are devastated by the loss which happened the day before Natina’s 33rd birthday. Details were sketchy at first as to what may have caused the accident but now her family is speaking out with more information and the father of her son Kurupt has also released a statement.
