Facebook’s data science team dived into the social network’s data on NFL fandom and came back with some revealing findings. For one thing, pro football fans are shameless bandwagon-hoppers, especially during the playoffs. And it seems the bandwagon everyone’s hopping on right now is the one that belongs to the San Francisco 49ers.

In a post that draws on what he calls “one of the most comprehensive samples of sports fanship ever collected,” Facebook data-science intern Sean Taylor analyzed patterns in the numbers of people who “like” the team pages of various NFL organizations, including the Super Bowl-bound 49ers and Baltimore Ravens. In all, some 35 million U.S.-based Facebook users—more than one in 10 Americans—have declared their support for at least one team.

How does a given team accrue these “likes?” By winning, of course. But especially by winning in the playoffs. Facebook data show that a playoff win…

Tuesday, Oprah injured her back after lifting a flower arrangement sent by her close friend, Tyler Perry. Sources say the OWN talk show queen spent her 59th birthday in bed after the mishap. However, the next day, Oprah Winfrey appeared to be doing well and shared a photo to prove it.

In a Jan. 31 post, WENN noted that Winfrey was showered with birthday gifts from family and friends. However, it was the bulky rose bouquet that gave O somewhat of a health scare.

Apparently, Winfrey hurt her back when she bent over and tried to lift the flowers. It seems she didn’t use the proper lifting technique of using the legs instead of bending at the back.

Thankfully, the injuries were not severe and she had no hard feelings about the mishap. In fact, she took to Twitter and filled her fans in.

Lil Wayne is so angry sometimes…he almost fought a cameraman at a charity event in New Orleans!!

So apparently, Wayne was having a private conversation and a cameraman was taping it, and bumped into Weezy. So Weezy demanded an apology, but when he got it, he wasn’t satisfied.

So he told dude,

“F*cking look at me, when you apologize.”

So dramatic lol.

He was so pissed off, someone literally had to hold him back!

But he eventually left after someone in the crowd yelled that his music was wack.

Another sad day, missing 13 year old girl found

According to Associated Press, the body of a reported missing 13-year-old girl has been found dead lying naked at a park in Farfield, California., police said.

Eric May who was the passerby that discovered the body told KTVU-TV, “I thought to myself, that looked like a mannequin, didn’t look like a human body,”

The girl was reported missing around 5:45 p.m. Thursday by her guardian at a foster home in nearby Suisun City. That city’s police Cmdr. Tim Mattos told the Daily Republic that the guardian last saw her board a school bus. He said she was in class all day and was expected home around 4 p.m.

A cause of death has not yet been reported. No suspect or suspects have been identified, but detectives were canvassing neighborhoods and checking video images from surveillance cameras as part of their investigation, Mayoral said.

Sacramento television station CBS13 reported the girl attended Green Valley Middle School, which is about eight miles from the park.

School Principal Gregg Hubbs declined to comment on the girl’s death.
