Katherine Jackson’s bid to take the concert promoters back to court for her son Michael’s comeback concert has come to a halt. The 2nd District Court of Appeal in California agreed with a jury’s decision that concert promoter AEG was not responsible for the King of Pop’s death and denied a motion for Katherine’s request for a new trial. The Associated Press is reporting the court upheld the rulings by a trial judge regarding AEG, where the suit claimed they acted irresponsibly by hiring Conrad Murray as Jackson’s doctor who gave him a fatal overdose of propofol. In June 2009, Jackson died under Murray’s care while he was preparing for his “This Is It” concert.
