WASHINGTON (AP) — The downtown home of the NBA’s Wizards and NHL’s Capitals is now called Capital One Arena. Owner Ted Leonsis announced the change from Verizon Center on Wednesday, along with an investment of $40 million in the arena. Leonsis’ Monumental Sports
As we previously reported, the former CBS sportscaster has been suspended indefinitely, as a spokeswoman revealed that he would “not be working again for CBS this season.”
According to ESPN, not only has Anthony been suspended from the network, but he also issued a statement where he offered an apology to fans, colleagues, and most importantly, his wife.
The statement read:
“I made a mistake,” he said. “With this lapse of judgment, I embarrassed many, including myself. I will work to regain the trust that I have lost, and the first step is saying that I am sorry.”
While he is no longer in police custody, we do know that the arrest was part of an undercover prostitution sting.

The world’s third oldest Bible, transcribed in the late fourth or early fifth century, and an ancient parchment volume of Deuteronomy and Joshua, are on public display at the Smithsonian’s Freer Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
The Codex Washingtonianus, also called the Washington Manuscript of the Gospels and The Freer Gospel and which contains the four biblical gospels, and the Old Testament gospels transcribed during the same period are on display in the Freer Gallery’s Victorian Peacock Room until Feb. 16, 2014.
The two rare antique biblical manuscripts are being displayed around 100 years after they were first on view to the public in museum-founder Charles Lang Freer’s Detroit home, according to a statement by the art gallery.
The Washingtonianus was written in Greek on parchment in the 4th or 5th century. Freer purchased the manuscripts in 1906 in Giza, Egypt, and later organized and underwrote significant early…
